Team Chicago-Pets.
Chicago-Pets, was dreamed of and started by Cynthia Slaby, a life-long pet Mom and animal-lover
with over 20 years of experience caring for pets, including many with special needs.

As a pet Mom and long-time customer of good (and not so good) pet care companies I have a true appreciation for the emotional and physical benefits that a conscientious, caring and professional pet service can provide. This appreciation and knowledge, as well as my BIG LOVE of all creatures, large and small, compelled me to start Chicago-Pets.
I understand that trust is everything - your trust and confidence in us and your, and your pet’s happiness with us, are the most important things to me and my team. We want to become your pet’s second best friend and hope to make your life a little simpler.
We’ll stop short of nothing to ensure that 1) your pets are happy even when you have to be away, 2) you are confident knowing they are in our good hands and 3) you are happy with the obvious care we’ve given upon your return.

Pet Care Specialist Bios
Hey, I'm a transplant from the East Coast, came to Chicago after college to get involved in the improv/sketch community. I've been a pet guardian since I was 3; my most recent companions are two rescued cats, Angie and Olive. While my days belong to the furry clients of Chicago-Pets, my nights are focused on editing videos and stage managing for different comedy groups. I can't wait to meet you and your dog, cat, or elephant! I love 'em all and will care for them as if they're my own!
